Access — Regrettably, our gorgeous rooms are only accessible via steps. It is of paramount importance that you are aware of this when making a booking, as it may impede on the enjoyment of your stay with us. We will gladly refer you to more appropriate accommodation if you are unable to use steps.

Activities — Don’t hesitate to consult us on things to do. We will gladly assist you with information, recommendations, and bookings where necessary (even before your arrival).

Check-in/out — On your day of arrival your room will be waiting for you from 14h00. On your day of departure we request that you vacate your room no later than 11h00. We are happy to be flexible when we can, but exceptions need to be discussed ad agreed in advance.

Cleaning — We will keep your room tidy at all times. However, safe for exceptions, rooms are thoroughly cleaned and all bed linen changed on the third day of your stay.

Clothes — We can provide washing, ironing, and dry cleaning services for you as long as the duration of your stay permits. An iron and ironing board is avaiablel anytime upon request.

Eating out — There are plenty of breakfast places, restaurants, and coffee shops in town. In the peak season it may be a good idea to book in advance. We will gladly assist you with that.

Electricity — No electricity outages at Oceans Drift. We get most of our electricity from solar and we have a solid back-up system in place.

Meals — Your stay with us includes a scrumptious breakfast, English or continental. No other meals are available. However, for late arrivers who won’t make it into town on their first night we have a limited menu of exquisite meals on offer. Please request info and make arrangements before your arrival.

Parking space —There is secure parking space for four vehicles right in front of the house. Vehicles should be locked at all times and valuables should not be kept in the vehicle, or at least stored out of sight.

Pets — Regrettably, no visiting pets are allowed at Oceans Drift.

Reading — Nothing nicer than sitting by the pool with a book. We have an extensive collection of books and, in case you can’t finish your reading in time, we have a “take one / leave one” honesty policy in place.

Safety — While Simon’s Town is a very safe location, we are taking all the necessary safety precautions to ensure an uneventful holiday.

Self-catering — All our rooms have a fridge and micro-wave, coffee/tea making, and limited self-catering facilities. On request, we can make a braai/BBQ stand available for you by the pool side.

Swimming pool — Our swimming pool is heated and available all year round. We request that you ask us for extra pool towels to use on the pool deck. children must swim under adult supervision.

Toiletries — We provide all the basic toiletries and will assist to the best of our ability if you left something essential behind at home.
